The most frequent findings during inspections are rarely complex. Blocked escape routes, propped fire doors, out-of-date records and untrained staff account for a large share of actions raised.
Each of these is inexpensive to correct but easy to let slip once daily routines take over.
A short recurring walk-around, recorded in writing, catches most of them before they become a formal finding.
